Casino Shows
Land based casino shows are one of the major draws to destinations like Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Even standalone casinos like Foxwoods offer casino shows worth traveling for. From opulent stage shows to magic, sporting events and concerts, casino shows are out there for all tastes. Vegas, home to the biggest concentration of casinos, offers the most abundant list of options, but don’t discount smaller venues by any means.
Current shows in Las Vegas include Blue Man Group at The Venetian, several Cirque du Soleil performances including Zumanity at New York New York and Love at the Mirage. Casino vacation seekers who enjoy magic can spend some time with David Copperfield at the MGM Grand until the end of September. There is also Criss Angel ongoing at Luxor in October along with the always funny and impressive Penn and Teller casino show at the Rio.
Visitors looking for casino shows in Atlantic City also have quite a few choices. Some of the everyday casino shows include Cirque Dreams Pandemonia at the Trump Taj Mahal, which is running until September. The casino show at Trump Plaza is the not to be missed Carnival of Wonders, a magic and comedy show which also runs until September. There are also many other live shows and concerts happening every month so be sure to talk to your casino resort about what shows they offer and if there are any potential discounts. Some not-to-be-missed shows and concerts in the next few months include: the musical Fame, comedians Dane Cook and Robin Williams as well as live concerts by Jimmy Buffet, Katy Perry and American Idols Live.
Standalone casinos Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut also have several casino shows and events in the upcoming months. Currently casino shows at Foxwoods include Bodies Revealed, on until November, and the celebrity tribute casino concert, Legends. At Mohegan Sun there is a long list of exciting casino shows and concerts including: Counting Crows, Journey and Jamie Foxx.
